The "jobless recovery" keeps employing more people. Last month's figures showed an increase of 337,000 in the payroll survey, and 298,000 in the household survey. (I guess some of the self-employed and partners of self-employed are either bailing out and getting payroll jobs, or some start-ups have started being surveyed.)
Or both.
Employment should continue upward. I suspect we'll find a lot of employers were holding off until they had some idea whose tax policy was going to be in place.
