I'd like to teach the world to hum

...but it's too late. The world's already humming.

In fact, the world constantly vibrates, at frequencies measured in milliHertz, or cycles per thousand seconds. Researchers have decided the vibration is due to ocean waves, storms, and other disturbances in the water and air. If any of the movements of either the water or the air happen to hit a resonent frequency of the planet, it could certainly keep a hum going.
