What is the Mystery Bulge on President Bush's back during the first debate?
Maybe it's John Kerry's pen?
According to a poster at Little Green Footballs,
"Georges de Paris, who made the suit Mr. Bush wore, said the bulge was nothing more than a pucker along the jacket's back seam, accentuated when the president crossed his arms and leaned forward on the lectern." Part of an article in the 10/9/2004 Dallas Morning News So much for the prompting device. I kind of liked the mini-me Karl Rove [miniaturized, and hiding under Bush's coat to prompt him] conspiracy theory.
