Energy economics

Tyler Cowen reviews The Bottomless Well: The Twilight of Fuel, the Virtue of Waste, and Why We Will Never Run Out of Energy by Peter Huber and Mark Mills.

The book offers the case that we're not running out of energy.

Readers of Julian Simon's book The Ultimate Resource will be familiar with the idea that our energy reserves are far less limited than we've been told. Huber and Mills apparently spent the entire book examining the proposition, and looking at what's really happening with energy, rather than what "common sense" tells us should be happening.
