I've been listening to excerpts of the Senate hearing on the nomination of Condoleeza Rice. One excerpt focused on Senator Boxer doing her best to cast WMD as the sole case for invading Iraq, and Rice as the sole author of this case.
Anyone who has read the resolution that authorized the use of force against Iraq knows there are nearly two dozen reasons listed for the invasion. Obviously, WMD was only a small part of the entire case.
Why is it that so many people are discussing only that one, single issue?
Maybe it's the only one they can spell.
