Building a brain

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1240410/The-real-Frankenstein-experiment-One-mans-mission-create-living-mind-inside-machine.html

Eventually, computers will be built with the power to hold a virtual copy of a human brain.  In theory, this copy should be able to do anything a real human brain can do -- think, feel, worry about the state of its soul.   Will the copy behave the way a "real" brain does?

Yes or no, the answer to that question will be astonishing.

Astonishing, yes. And so exciting!

Science Fiction describes the result as utopia or apocalypse, but if one thing's certain about the future, it's not what you expect.
